EEE (English Employability and Entrepreneurship)
ABOUT THE COURSE
In today’s globalized economy, it has become increasingly important for an individual to acquire
and regularly sharpen their domain skills as well as interpersonal skills. These abilities are necessary for people who want to start their own businesses as well as those who want to work for pay. Feedback from the industry over the past few years has shown that, despite having strong domain knowledge, Himachali youth frequently struggle with written and oral communication and lack confidence when it comes to interviews. Furthermore, considering the State's limited industrial base, inadequate salary placement, and lack of chances for career advancement, it is important to support creative young people in developing an entrepreneurial attitude in order to increase their options for a living.
Launched in February 2019, EEE or English, Employability & Entrepreneurship Module is a vocational and personality development course, the module for which is approved by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
The Management and Entrepreneurship & Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) is the nodal body and certification agency for the implementation of EEE module that includes training, assessment & certification.
In Himachal, the Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) as part of the Himachal Pradesh Skill Development Project implements this program.
