General Grievance Redressal Committee
To accomplish its mission of transparency and parity in academics and quality teaching-learning environment on the campus, Govt. Degree College, Arki has constituted a strong grievance redressal mechanism, in accordance with UGC regulation. The committee becomes operational right from the commencement of admission and remains active through- out the session towards the resolution of issues once the committee receives the complaints. The students enrolled at college have the right to appeal any academic matter in which they feel that they have been treated unfairly. The following committee also redresses the issues and grievances of students pertaining to house examination, assignments and internal assessment. Depending on the nature of the complaint, the Grievances Redressal Committee tries to resolve the grievances through association with the respective committee.

IC (Internal Committee under sexual harassment of women at work Place)
The College has a duly constituted Internal Committee (IC) to look into the matters pertaining to sexual harassment. There is a complaint box installed near the Principal office for this purpose wherein students can drop their complaints and it is regularly monitored by the convener fortnightly. The students can register their complaint in writing as well as verbally by appearing before the said committee. It comprises members from the teaching, non-teaching faculty, students and an external member. The committee comprises the following members.

Anti-Ragging Committee
As per Himachal Pradesh Educational Institution Prohibition Act, 2009, ragging is a cognizable offence. Any conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act, which has the effect of harassing, teasing, treating or handling with rudeness,causing serious mental and physical trauma is treated with iron hand. During the orientation programme students are tenaciously advised to adhere the rules prescribed by the Hon’ble High Court with respect to anti- ragging.The guidelines of this are clearly displayed on the notice board. The student with rowdy and belligerent behavior, which triggers fear, psychological harm, criminal intimidation and apprehension of fear,is brought under different section of act and initiated legal procedures against him/her.The members of the committee are as follows.

Cell for grievances of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities/Specially Abled
Govt. College Arki has constituted a grievance cell to eradicate any kind of caste-based discrimination pertaining to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Class, Minorities and Specially Abled.The cell responds to complaints from students in above categories regarding both academic and non-academic matters. Recognizing the value of unity in variety, the institute works to provide a setting free from caste- or creed-based prejudice so that all communities can engage in academic, research, and extracurricular activities.
College students can file a written complaint about discrimination to the committee. After verifying all the information, the cell will address any complaints from students and notify the complainant of the cell's decision. The committee consists of the following members.
