Department of Computer Applications

The department of BCA came into existence in the year 2011 when the classes of BCA began at GDC ARKI. Since then the department has achieved excellence in providing basic computer education to its students at UG level. BCA department aims to make a place at both national and international level by providing high quality ethically computer application engineers with the ability to adapt the upcoming challenges in information technologies and their applications to cater to the ever changing industrial and societal needs. The department has a team of passionate academic staff. The department has four faculty members. The faculty has commitment and dedication for teaching and providing a good learning environment for the student growth. Curriculum of the department provides a good theoretical foundation through high-quality teaching and extensive practical training. In addition to curriculum the department has Cyber Society in which students regularly organizes various presentations, quiz competition, workshops, easy writing etc. It aims to motivate the students to enhance their software development skills, soft skills, personality development etc.

The department is committed to provide the ambience to become industry ready professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs by offering courses on cutting edge Technology and advancement laboratory courses for the students. The lab is designed with an IT environment and equipped with projectors. The aim of department is to provide the future leaders in the area of computer application and information technology through the development of human intellectual potential to its fullest extent.
