The Department of Mathematics, Govt Degree College Arki is well known for its dedication towards excellence in teaching and research. The Department is very well equipped with state of art teaching aids and smart classroom.
The Department aims to create a solid foundation for the assimilation of mathematical concepts and structures and build mathematical skills like creative, logical and analytical thinking. The Department has two faculty members. The faculty members are actively engaged in teaching, research and extension activities.
Overall, the Department of Mathematics provides a stimulating learning environment for students interested in pursuing a career in Mathematics. Ramanujan Mathematical Society
The Department has a vibrant Society –Ramanujan Mathematical Society. It is a body of students mentored by the faculty which organizes study tours, surveys, quizzes and expert lectures. The office bearers of the society are democratically elected by the students themselves.Itplays a vital role to promote student’s interests in the subject by organizing activities with their enthusiastic involvement.
