Scholarship

Scholarship Schemes

 

The College also offers various Central and State Sponsored Scholarship schemes as per the National Scholarship Portal on the basis of their eligibility criteria to various schemes. The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is an online portal by the Government of India for applying, processing, verifying and sanction of Government scholarships to the students.

    Following are the Scholarship Schemes offered to the students:
  1. Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme for meritorious students.
  2. Indira Gandhi Uttkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna for meritorious students.
  3. Mukhya Mantri Protsahan Yojana-Himachal Pradesh
  4. Mukhya Mantri Vidyarthi Kalyan Yojana– Himachal Pradesh
  5. Centrally Sponsored Post-Matriculation scholarship to SC students – Himachal Pradesh
  6. Centrally Sponsored Post-Matriculation scholarship to ST students – Himachal Pradesh
  7. PM Yasasvi Post Matric Scholarship for OBC/EBC/ DNT Students – Himachal Pradesh
  8. Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti yojana for SC Students.
  9. Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti yojana for OBC Students.
  10. Maharishi Balmiki Chhatravriti Yojana–Himachal Pradesh
  11. Thakur Sen Negi Uttkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna- Himachal Pradesh
  12. Swami Vivekand Uttkrisht Chhatravriti Yojna- Himachal Pradesh.

The eligible students are directed to fill the online Scholarship Application Form and submit these forms complete in all respects within the specified dates (Web portals for online Scholarships are HP e- Pass and National Scholarship Portal (NSP)). Members of the scholarship committee, after screening the forms, help students in the online submission of forms.

Local Scholarships

Certain local scholarships are also available to the meritorious students in different areas, which are awarded at the Annual Function of the college every year. Scholarships worth Rs. 2000/- each are awarded by Dr. O.P. Gupta, (Retd. Principal) and Dr. Meera Gupta (Retd. Principal). Note: All eligible students are directed to fill scholarship forms through the National Scholarship Portal/ website: https://scholarships.gov.in/ and submit all the forms/documents complete in all respects within the specified dates.
